Recovery grants extended for North QLD floods
Jul 31, 2019Small businesses and primary producers impacted by the North and Far North Queensland floods earlier this year have until the end of November to apply for recovery grants. Up to $75,000 is available for primary producers and up to $50,000 for small businesses and not-for-profits to help with clean-up and recovery activities. -

Colleges start formal application for national recognition of Rural Generalist Medicine
Jun 6, 2019Work has started on the formal application to have Rural Generalist Medicine recognised as a specialised field within the specialty of General Practice. Leaders of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM), the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and the National Rural Health Commissioner gathered at a Joint College Taskforce meeting this week to begin the application process. -
