Once providers have been successfully registered and confirmed as a CPD education provider with ACRRM, they can begin the application process for event accreditation.

Follow the outline below to ensure your application meets the required criteria before submission.

Submitting an activity for accreditation

Follow the steps below to complete an application for your course to become CPD accredited with ACRRM.

Note: Education providers must be registered and confirmed with ACRRM prior to completing an application.

  • Step 1
    Log in to MyCollege

Refer to your provider confirmation email for your login details.

Once logged in, update your password under My Profile > Update Password.

Click 'keep me signed in' to avoid being logged out before you have finished submitting your activity.

Important: Your password must be at least six characters and include upper and lower case letters and a number.

  • Step 2
    Access 'My Events'

Log in to ‘My Events’ and submit information about the activities you wish to accredit.

Before submitting an activity please ensure you have reviewed the accreditation guide and criteria and that you have entered the following:

  • A course description
  • Clear and relevant learning objectives
  • Details of duration and content of any practical hands-on skills stations including formal assessment or case-based discussion sessions or scenario training components of the course
  • A copy of the course program showing session content and times
  • Copies of any additional learning materials, such as readings or quizzes (if applicable).

If your activity contains an optional component, such as an optional audit or self-reflection, please submit this as separate CPD activity.

If you are contacted for further information regarding your application, you will be required to submit this within 7 days.

  • Step 3
    Activity review and confirmation

Allow a minimum of ten working days to process your application for event accreditation.

You will receive a confirmation email with an attendance list template, along with instructions on how to access the ACRRM accreditation logo for use in advertising of the accredited event.

  • Step 4
    Advertising your event

The ACRRM accreditation logo should only be used to promote your accredited event - not the accreditation of the provider.

Accredited events will appear on the ACRRM website. If you would prefer the event to not be published on this should be indicated in the additional information field in the ‘Add activity’ online form.

Any additional advertising enquiries should be directed to advertise@acrrm.org.au

Accreditation criteria

The following criteria are used to assess activities for accreditation:

  1. Does the educational activity help to update knowledge and skills, review performance and/ or measure outcomes?
  2. Does the activity relate to the College's Primary Curriculum?
  3. Does the educational event/activity have clear, specific learning objectives?
  4. Are the planned educational strategies based on adult learning principles?
  5. Does the application show that some impact evaluation (changes in knowledge, skill, attitude, practice or patient outcome) is planned?

Promoting your activity

You will be provided with a CPD accreditation logo which can be used when you promote the accredited activity.  The logo must only be used for the accredited activity, is not transferable to other activities, and must not be used to promote associated events that are held in conjunction with the accredited activity.

The College also offers a range of ways to promote your educational activity.
