ACRRM is proud to recognise a remarkable group of staff who have each contributed more than 10 years of service to the College, with several reaching milestones of 20 and even 25 years.
These long-serving team members were formally recognised at a dinner hosted by the ACRRM Board, Council and Executive Leadership Team — an opportunity to reflect on their collective contribution to ACRRM’s growth and impact in Rural Generalist Medicine.
Their dedication spans a wide range of roles from finance, IT, education development, education services, registrar, Fellow, and member support.
ACRRM President Dr Rod Martin says the milestone is a testament to both the individuals and the organisation.
“Reaching 10, 20 and even 25 years of service is an extraordinary achievement.
“These staff have played a vital role in building ACRRM into the strong, values-driven College it is today.
“We thank each of them for their dedication to supporting Rural Generalists and improving healthcare for rural, remote, and First Nations communities.”
“Among those we recognise is founding CEO, Marita Cowie, whose leadership laid the foundations for the College, and supports staff to enjoy long and meaningful careers.”
