NPS MedicineWise are currently inviting nominations for two Non-Executive Director positions. Nominations must be received by 9:00 am (AEDT) on Monday 23 November 2020 to be considered. The preferred candidates will be invited to attend a formal interview with the Board Governance and Nomination Committee, currently scheduled to take place on or around 3 December 2020.

Non-Executive Director - Position 1

Nominations/applications for this position should be from individuals who have high level of understanding of Commonwealth Government processes and procedures and a high level strategic understanding of the political landscape and must clearly demonstrate that applicants meet the criteria for this position.

The position specific criteria for this role are as follows:

• High level of understanding of Commonwealth Government processes and procedures and a high level strategic understanding of the political landscape.
• Demonstrated ability to build and use networks to support organisational outcomes.
• Capacity to identify opportunities and challenges to advance the strategic vision of NPS MedicineWise.
  

  Desirable:

• Financial and legal expertise and experience.
• A high level understanding of health policy.
• Health professional background (e.g. primary health / pharmacy / community pharmacy / nursing / allied health).

Non-Executive Director - Position 2

Nominations/applications for this position should be from individuals who have high level digital expertise and experience (strategy, governance, planning and transformation) and must clearly demonstrate that applicants meet the criteria for this position.

The position specific criteria for this role are as follows:

• High level digital expertise and experience (strategy, governance, planning and transformation).
• Capacity to identify opportunities and challenges to advance the strategic vision of NPS MedicineWise in the context of changing models of service delivery.

• Financial and legal expertise and experience.

• Understanding of the health sector.
• Health professional background (e.g. primary health / pharmacy/community pharmacy / nursing / allied health).

• Ability to advance the goals of NPS MedicineWise.
• Effective leadership skills.
• Strategic decision maker.
• Experience in working on and with boards.
• Committed to socially and culturally inclusive policy and governance.
