Dr Sally Nelson is a Rural Generalist who lives in and works in the Barossa Valley. She works in general practice 2 days a week at Tanunda Medical Centre, provides after hours services to the Tanunda War Memorial Hospital and enjoys the variety that rural general practice brings. Tanunda Medical Centre is a practice that is passionate about teaching with medical students, interns, junior doctors and registrars and Sally enjoys being part of the education team at Tanunda.
Sally also works for Primary Health Care, Central Australia Health Service, providing primary care to remote Aboriginal Communities in the Central Australia region. Her professional passions are Aboriginal Health, emergency medicine, palliative care and teaching.
