About Dr Bill Johnson

Dr Bill Johnson is an ACRRM registrar currently undertaking Advanced Specialised Training in anaesthetics in Toowoomba.

A 2018 graduate of the University of Western Australia, his clinical background spans rural generalism, emergency medicine, and paediatrics, along with senior leadership experience as Medical Superintendent at Bamaga Hospital. In addition to his clinical roles, he works as a medical educator teaching and mentoring medical students.

Dr Johnson’s primary professional interests lie in digital health, specifically deploying robust telecommunications, reliable infrastructure, and emerging technologies to support and supplement isolated clinicians practicing in remote areas.
