Dr Daniel Fry is an experienced Rural Generalist and anaesthetist currently working as a General Practitioner Visiting Medical Officer and GP Anaesthetist at Cootamundra Hospital. A Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, he holds medical and child health qualifications and has provided rural hospital care in Cootamundra for more than a decade. Dr Fry’s clinical experience spans emergency medicine, inpatient care, anaesthetics, Aboriginal health and the delivery of comprehensive medical services in rural settings. He is committed to maintaining safe, accessible and responsive healthcare for rural communities, with a particular interest in supporting high-quality procedural and acute care close to home. Alongside, his clinical practice, Dr Fry contributes to professional standards and continuing education through his role on ACRRM’s Continuing Professional Development Committee. His experience across rural generalist medicine, hospital practice and anaesthetics brings a practical and clinically grounded perspective to the Committee’s work and governance.
