Dr Wendy Cavilla is a GP with a background in rural medicine, medical education and focused assessment support. She grew up overseas and has a special interest in women’s health, tropical medicine and Aboriginal Health. She is currently based in Perth but previously worked in the Kimberley region of Western Australia for Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service and the Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Service, visiting remote communities. She has been working with ACRRM since 2017 and also works for the University of Western Australia helping to coordinate rural general practice placements for final year medical students in Western Australia. Wendy is currently the National Lead Medical Educator for Remediation and Progression with ACRRM and leads the national Focused Assessment Support Team.
