Sara is a Rural Generalist registrar living in Sale, a rural town in Gippsland on Gunaikurnai Land, with her husband and four children.
Sara has lived in QLD, NSW, SA and the NT before moving to Victoria and credits her placements at rural clinical schools in Darwin, Tiwi Islands, Alice Springs and Katherine for fostering her desire to live in, and provide healthcare to, Australia’s rural and remote communities.
Sara is currently working in a primary care facility co-located with a small hospital & aged care facility, while concurrently working towards her AST in Anaesthetics at a larger regional centre nearby, where she also provides antenatal care.
Sara is keen to support fellow Victorian registrars as they navigate their way towards ACRRM fellowship.
Sara can be contacted via email to RLO.VIC@acrrm.org.au.
