About Dr Michelle Hannan

Dr Michelle Hannan became a FACRRM in 2017 with an AST in Emergency Medicine, and also holds postgraduate qualifications in Public Health, Infectious Diseases and Health Administration. 

She has worked as a Rural Generalist across primary care, emergency medicine, and aeromedical retrieval in various rural and remote areas including Wagga Wagga, Broken Hill, Mt Isa, Charleville and now Tasmania.

Michelle has held senior leadership roles across public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, including as State Lead Primary Health Care for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section). She currently serves as Medical Lead for Care@Home, Tasmania’s virtual care service, where she oversees clinical strategy, governance, and service delivery and planning.
