About Dr Jarrad Lenegan

Dr Jarrad Lenegan undertook his rural generalist training in the Kimberley – at Broome and Fitzroy Crossing Hospitals – with extended skills in Emergency Medicine. In 2023, Jarrad was honoured as the ACRRM Registrar of the year. 

Currently Jarrad is undertaking a year of Rural Generalist Anaesthesia training at Joondalup Health Campus in Perth and he intends to return to the Kimberley once complete.

Jarrad is passionate about growing opportunities for medical education and training in rural and remote areas. He works part-time as a medical educator for the Remote Vocational Training Scheme (RVTS) and a senior lecturer for the Rural Clinical School of WA (RCSWA).

Beyond his clinical and educational work, Jarrad is an Army Reserve Officer, enjoys sunset walks on Cable Beach, camping and exploring the rugged northwest with his growing family.
