  • Best Practice update on ePrescriptions and Active Ingredient Prescribing

    ePrescribing functionality was made available in the Jade SP3 release of Bp Premier. Best Practice is following the Australian Digital Health Agency’s rollout plan for eScripts, and as each of their published tranches becomes available for ePrescribing, we will notify customers and provide them with information on how to activate ePrescribing in Bp Premier.

  • Reducing Unnecessary Diagnostic Imaging Project

    A number of ACRRM members received a letter at the end of 2019 providing feedback on their imaging requests for musculoskeletal concerns and information regarding supporting resources and tools. As a follow up, some letter recipients will soon receive correspondence from the department with updated feedback on their imaging requests for musculoskeletal concerns. This is not a compulsory activity. Members are not being contacted as part of an audit or practitioner review compliance activity and are not required to provide information to the department about their imaging requests.

    Members who participate in the ACRRM Professional Development Program (PDP) have access to a PD portfolio where they can now self-record their PDP activities. Most activities will receive instant PDP credit. If members attend an accredited course the education provider should report on behalf of the member and that credit will also contribute to their PDP records.
