  • ATAGI advice on winter dose of COVID-19 vaccine

    The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) recommends an additional dose of COVID-19 vaccine for winter for selected population groups (see attached summary and poster) who are at greatest risk of severe illness from COVID-19 and who have received their primary vaccination and first booster dose.

  • Image-Based Prescribing to cease 31 March 2022

    After 31 March 2022, image-based prescribing will not be available for use outside of a hospital setting. While image-based prescribing arrangements will cease in the community setting, healthcare providers will continue to have options that existed before image-based prescribing (in addition to electronic prescribing) to enable remote support to their patients.

  • ACRRM helps deliver successful online exam for JCCA

    ACRRM, in collaboration with the Victorian Rural Generalist Program (VRGP) and the Joint Consultative Committee on Anaesthesia (JCCA), oversaw the successful running of the Victorian JCCA’s first ever online exam recently. The exam was conducted virtually from the College’s national office in Brisbane, allowing ACRRM to facilitate the exam delivery and the invigilation, on behalf of the VRGP.
