ACRRM's Implanon Insertion Training is designed to help improve rural and remote women's access to contraceptive options. This workshop will acquaint you with the insertion, localisation, removal and counselling process supporting IMPLANON NXT® from Organon.
Implanon Insertion Training is made up of six online modules and an online live session with an ACRRM fellow who is experienced using the device and is an endorsed Implanon clinical educator.
Remote online Implanon insertion training means I can now provide a service to Aboriginal clients of Pangula Mannamurna in Mount Gambier. Importantly, in my academic role I am on the move. Portable training meant I could undertake the online modules in Mount Gambier, Pt Augusta and Adelaide and the zoomed simulation in Canberra. Not many procedural training activities can be this accommodating! Thank you ACRRM."
