The Opportunity Yass District Hospital is a ten-bed hospital with three emergency beds and a medical imaging department. The hospital is ideally located just 45 minutes from Canberra, and 320kms from Sydney via the Hume Highway. Working as a GP Visiting Medical Officer, you will provide expert medical assessment and management of patients within Yass District Hospital. The management of patients can be in the form of inpatient and medical services, emergency department or both. You will play an important role in providing much needed medical care to the community of Yass.
The Location Yass lies along the Yass River which is a tribute of the Murrumbidgee River. A town in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, Yass is a proud of its heritage connection to early rural Australia and its reputation for food and wine. Essential Criteria - Specialist registration or eligible for specialist registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and/or Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM)
- Compliance with the NSW Health Credential requirements
