Senior Medical Officer, Prison Health Services Delivering high quality primary health care services in a correctional environment.
· Key front line clinical leadership role · Permanent Full Time · Working across all correctional facilities with West Moreton Health Service About the role: The role of the Senior Medical Officer is to provide high quality, best practice primary health care to prisoners across all correctional facilities within West Moreton Health Service. Working as part of a multidisciplinary health care team you will ensure provision of evidence based and quality care to individual patients, whilst providing clinical leadership for the nurse practitioners, registered nurses and allied health disciplines.
About you: To be considered for the role you will need: • Registration with AHPRA as a specialist (General Practice). • Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and/or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. • All applicants must be awarded Scope of Clinical Practice (SoCP) by the WMHHS Credentialing and SoCP committee. All appointments are subject to maintenance of SoCP within the Clinical Service Capability Framework for the facilities in which clinical work is to be undertaken.
