Virtual classroom test

In order to partake in one of the College virtual classrooms you will require a headset or headphones with a microphone. The following is a guide on how to set up your computer to join a virtual classroom.

Blackboard Collaborate Ultra

Collaborate Ultra is a WebRTC virtual classroom and works best in a Chrome Browser. Before your session, please test your connection and browser using the ACRRM Collaborate Ultra Test Room

Access Collaborate Ultra via Mobile Device or Tablet Computer

You may also access this session using your mobile device or tablet computer with the Blackboard app which can be downloaded from:

Note: When using the mobile App to access Ultra virtual classrooms – just click on the classroom link that you have been provided with and the ‘link’ will ‘find’ the App for you…don’t open the App first!

    The virtual classrooms are built using a free and easily accessible plugin for your computer (Blackboard Collaborate Launcher).

  • Why do I get the error 'BlackboardCollaborateLauncher is corrupt or invalid' when I try to install the launcher? [more]

    You are most likely getting this error in the browser Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge due to recent security updates released by Microsoft. If you click 'View downloads' or find your download directory you can run the file from there, alternatively we suggest you try using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to install Blackboard Collaborate if this issue persists.
