Reporting and assessments
Our processes have been designed to provide registrars like you with reliable reports, information and useful assessment opportunities throughout your training. We are 100% tailored to rural and remote medicine.
Our assessments are developed by clinically active, rural and remote medical practitioners. We give registrars the option to participate in their assessments in the area that they live and work.
This approach means rural communities are not deprived of their much-needed medical workforce during assessment periods. And you can keep track of your progress and reporting requirements from anywhere in the world through the My College Dashboard.
All registrars are required to successfully complete the Primary Curriculum assessments as follows:
You will be eligible for:
- MSF and MCQ after completing 12 months training, and
- MiniCEX and StAMPS after completing 24 months training.
You will also be required to complete your Advanced Specialised Training curricula assessments specific to the chosen AST.

Registrars for the assessment process are advised to carefully consider the information provided in the Assessment Handbook before submitting their application. Please note that registrars must enrol and pay for each individual assessment modality they are intending to undertake. The Enrolment Application Forms include the examination dates, fees and the eligibility criteria.
