RVTS pathway

RVTS is one of ACRRM’s three Australian Medical Council accredited training pathways for Vocational Registration in Australia. Successful completion of the RVTS program will result in an award of Fellowship of the College, or FACRRM. FACRRM is recognised in reciprocal arrangements with other international medical colleges.

RVTS is a Commonwealth Government funded program providing vocational training for medical practitioners in remote and isolated communities and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities throughout Australia. The four year program allows you to access vocational training while you continue to provide general medical services to your community.

The RVTS Pathway provides a structured, but flexible, distance education program.

You apply for the pathway with RVTS.

Once you have applied to RVTS and been accepted for a training position, talk to RVTS about how to enrol with the College and your options for Recognition of Prior Learning.
