Applicants must be enrolled in one of the following pathways
to enrol in any ACRRM assessment:
ACRRM Independent Pathway (IP)
b) Vocational Preparation Pathway(VPP)
Remote Vocational Training Scheme(RVTS)
registrars enrolled in any of these pathways must have
years of ACRRM training or have been awarded two years for recognition of prior
learning, prior to enrolling for CBD (i.e. in year three or four of
IMG Specialist Pathway
to enrolling, doctors enrolled in this pathway must have completed a portion of
their peer review period as specified in their requirements.
All applicants must have current medical registration and be current financial
members of ACRRM.
Applicants are encouraged to discuss with their medical educator readiness for
assessment prior to enrolling.
While the order of assessment is not prescribed, the recommended order is MSF,
MCQ, CBD and then StAMPS.
Based Discussion assessment
In 2017 all candidates irrespective of the
year they commenced training are required to meet revised assessment
requirements for summative CBD and formative miniCEX.

New rules around submission of case
notes for the Case Based Discussion (CBD) assessment will be implemented from
2017. Candidates are required to submit all twelve (12) case notes up front
prior to the CBD sessions being scheduled. Candidates enrolling in 2017 need to
ensure they submit their twelve case notes by:
First semester 2017A
- by the 17th March 2017
Second semester 2017B
– by the 21st July

assessment sessions we suggest you not enrol until you can meet these
