Director of Acute Care Services (Emergency Services)

Gross Billings $500,000 to $850,000 per annum.

Caboolture Super Clinic is seeking a VR General Practitioner to join the practice as Director of Acute Care Services.  This opportunity allows a suitably experienced GP to lead, develop and manage our Acute Care Facility.  The team includes General Practitioners, GP registrars, medical & surgical specialists, allied health practitioners and clinical nurses. 

The Caboolture Super Clinic is a large medical centre that provides a range of clinical services including General Practice, Acute Care / Emergency, Specialist Medical Services, Allied Health and Nursing Services.  The centre also includes Pharmacy, Radiology and Pathology Services.  There is a Wellness Gymnasium and Conference / Education facilities on site.  The Caboolture Super Clinic is a part of the Commonwealth GP Super Clinics Program and is also Queensland's first registered Health Care Home. 

The applicant will be able to lead the Acute Care team, and provide high quality acute care and emergency services to patients as a VR General Practitioner.  The applicant should demonstrate strong leadership skills, be an excellent clinician, and be able to foster a culture of excellence and patient-centred care.  This is an opportunity to play a key role in developing and enhancing our acute care services.  The clinic receives approximately 1200 QAS ambulance arrivals per annum and also a high volume of walk-in presentations.  The Director of Acute Care Services will work with and report to the DMS in providing excellent patient care.


  • Registration with AHPRA as a Specialist General Practitioner 
  • Hold FRACGP or FACRRM  
  • Demonstrated medical leadership and experience in acute care and emergency settings
