The ACRRM Primary Curriculum describes the core learning outcomes which must be attained to be eligible for Fellowship of ACRRM.
The aim is produce graduates who can function as safe, confident, and independent doctors across a full range of general practice, including practice in rural and remote communities.
The Primary Curriculum underpins and acts as a baseline for extended skills development which is reflected through Advanced Specialised Training Curricula. The College is undertaking a scheduled review of the curriculum to ensure it continues to reflect best standards. ACRRM requires three spheres of learning and experience to ensure a registrar is exposed to the range of learning environments necessary to meet fellowship standards:
