To apply for a PESCI, you must first meet the National English Language Proficiency Requirement for IMGs. If you are applying via the Standard Pathway, you must also pass the multiple choice question examination set by the Australian Medical Council (AMC).
If you are applying via the Competent Authority Pathway, you must also obtain a Certificate of Advanced Standing from the AMC.
If you are required to complete a Structured Clincial Interview (SCI) for re-registration with the Medical Board of Australia, you are NOT required to have completed any of the above.
