Working safe in rural and remote Australia - practice and policy implications

A roundtable on workplace violence, convened in Canberra on 19 August 2009, has released an eight-page report. Attended by ACRRM, RDAA, Australian Nursing Federation, CRANAplus, and the Police Federation, the event had three aims:
• provide an overview about some of the major issues
• identify successful key policies and practices
• identify national priorities for creating safer workplaces.
