Membership of ACRRM

When you join ACRRM, you join a national network of medical practitioners who have a special dedication to expanding and refining their knowledge and skills.

The College's rigorous approach to setting and maintaining standards for rural and remote medical practice is complemented by a range of member support measures designed to ensure members have opportunities to participate in the life of the College and further their capabilities.

Established in the belief that all Australians deserve quality medical care - regardless of how small or remote their community - the College has evolved from a noble ideal of a few rural doctors to a national college with a professional network of approximately 2,500 members.

The practice of rural and remote medicine is more than a special set of advanced skills; it is an ethos.  The ideals of confident, competent doctors delivering quality medical care are underpinned by the College's range of member benefits.
