INDEMNITY INSURANCE – IS A MANDATORY REQUIREMENT FOR ALL STUDENTS
Students are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate insurance.
You must provide a copy of your policy to the JFPP team before you can go on placement and also take a copy with you on placement. This is now a requirement that is part of your Travel Request Form.
Travel Insurance
It is recommended that students consider arranging travel and health insurance to cover their placement period. ACRRM’s travel management agency, Corporate Travel Management (CTM) can provide you with quotes and arrange insurance for you at the time of booking your travel, if required. You will need to contact them directly to arrange payment.
Travel
ACRRM has contracted CTM to arrange your travel and accommodation requirements.
You need to complete the travel booking form at least six weeks prior to departure. Complete the booking form on line and click ‘submit’ to confirm your request. Ensure that you include all necessary information and be certain of all your travel details and dates prior to completing. Once your travel booking form has been received it is considered to be a confirmed booking of your travel arrangements.
CTM will provide you with an itinerary confirming your travel details at least three weeks prior to your departure date. Please check that all travel details are correct and take your itinerary with you on placement. If ACRRM has booked accommodation on your behalf ensure that you also print and take these details with you. In the event that your accommodation plans have changed since you received your ACRRM placement confirmation you must contact ACRRM to avoid double bookings. If change of accommodation notification is not received 3 weeks or more prior to commencement of your placement, you may incur a cancellation fee.
If you need to make any changes to your travel or accommodation arrangements you are required to email the JFPP team for approval. Any costs incurred to change will be at your own expense (unless it is an after hours emergency).
In the instance of an emergency, where travel needs to be changed, during business hours contact the JFPP team. After business hours you need to contact CTM directly.
