The College develops courses independently or with partners in response to the needs of members developing particular specialties or working in particular geographical locations.
Courses are presented in person or online at intervals throughout the year. A range of procedural courses are also concentrated in and around Rural Medicine Australia — the annual national conference that the College jointly hosts with the Rural Doctors’ Association of Australia.
The range includes skin, ultrasound, emergency medicine, rural emergency skills training (REST), and generalist emergency medicine.
Members are informed about proposed courses via our e-newsletters and postings on the News and Events page on this website.
