"Leads to Fellowship of ACRRM, specialist registration and vocational recognition."
Doctors who have College-recognised specialist qualifications in general practice or family medicine may be eligible to gain Fellowship of ACRRM (FACRRM) through the College's Australian Medical Council (AMC) accredited Specialist pathway.
The Specialist pathway provides a fair and equitable pathway for IMGs to achieve Fellowship of the College (FACRRM), specialist medical registration in Australia and vocational recognition. This entitles doctors to practice independently anywhere in Australia. FACRRM’s have access to specialist rates of remuneration under Medicare which is the Australian national health insurance scheme.
You must possess the skills and experience deemed to be substantially or partially comparable to those of an Australian-trained Fellow of the College (FACRRM) and hold recognised overseas general practice qualifications as per the College's Codified List.
