ACRRM President's Rural Student Prize

The ACRRM President's Prize is awarded to one Rural Student Club Member attending the annual National Undergraduate Rural Health Conference.

The prize covers cost of flights/travel to and from, and accommodation in, a remote area placement of the student's choice. The placement would be at a time suitable to the student, and be taken in a practice available in, or close to an area the student might choose to go. Once the recipient has indicated their choice of area, ACRRM will make all the arrangements.

Previous recipients of this prize have had an exciting, hugely informative and a rewarding time in places such as Christmas Island, Bamaga and Thursday Island. They were given the opportunity to experience remote practice first hand, and from all reports, an experience that they feel will benefit them throughout their careers.
