External committee representation

We represent the interests of members and their patients through participating in over 80 forums such as:

  • standards committees
  • working and advisory groups
  • regional training organisation boards
  • government entities, and
  • ministerial bodies.

As the peak standards and training body for rural and remote medicine, we are frequently asked to nominate experienced members with specialised experienced. These positions are advertised in our weekly college e-newsletter, Country Watch.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure information is current and correct. The College will check current medical registration status prior to forwarding to the Board or College Council.

Process

To register your interest in representing the College, complete the expression of interest form and attach a brief up-to-date CV. Once all relevant details are received, they will be forwarded to the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine's Board or College Council for consideration.

You will be notified by email regarding the outcome of your nomination.
